The 2.0 version of the draft CCB Standards was released in February 2005. The 2.0 version significantly streamlined the Standards. Key revisions included the elimination of Appendixes, the elimination of complex scoring for individual indicators, the development of various levels of certification and the elimination of many redundancies. The format of this version was inspired by the highly-successful U.S. Green Building Council's LEED Rating System.
